Near-IR photography for #ShittyCameraChallenge

This is a test post to help build out my Ghost site and publishing process.

For my first time doing the #ShittyCameraChallenge, I broke out a 14-year-old project: a digital camera I'd modified to shoot in near-infrared. Here's the full write-up on Notion (WIP)!

If you'd like to follow updates on the project, here are my threads on Bluesky and Mastodon (Ghost can embed them, but the Mastodon one went all weird and vertical?):

OK so, I kinda insulted my ancient IR-modded digicam by posting a couple of awful shots... but it's actually capable of some pretty cool stuff ^_^ Was thinking to save the best for #ShittyCameraChallenge, but there might be a theme and I didn't wanna wait! Been running around the Bay shooting neon.
